Awards and Badges

The awards programme is made up of the Core Awards (Challenges) and Activity Badges. During your time in Scouts, you should complete many of the challenges. Once you have completed enough, you can aim to achieve your Chief Scout Gold Award, the top award acheivable in Scouts. The challenges are as follows:

  • Outdoor
  • Outdoor Plus
  • Fitness
  • Global
  • Expedition
  • Community
  • Creative
  • Adventure
  • Promise

There is a wide range of Activity Badges. You can choose one to do at any time: just let the leaders know. We do some within the troop. They range from Canoeing, to Artist, to Sports Enthusiast!

All the badge requirements you need can be found on the Scouts website.
