Awards 2009-2010 Presentation Evening (Jul 2010)

A selection of photos from the Annual Presentation evening held on our last evening of the School Year.

This evening has been running for 9 years now and each year we celebrate the Scouts achievements in attendance and inspection as well as handing out any outstanding badges and awards.

The main trophies are Best Patrol, Best Scout, Best P.L (to return next year) and Most Improved Scout along with the extra special award Scout's Scout voted for by the Scouts themselves.

We also say a big thank you to anyone who has helped us during the year, including Explorer Scouts, Network Scouts, and Parents. We couldn't run the Troop without their help.

A presentation of £100 was made by George to Action for Blind People who run sports activities for the visually impaired. This was part of our fundraising efforts for Sports Relief. Sports Relief also received £100. This year the Scouts also raised £60 for Children in Need and £60 for the Wellchild Charity as part of the Giant Sleepover event. The Raffle in aid of the Swindon Therapy Centre for M.S raised £41.

This year we also welcomed Dean (an ex Scout) and Keith as our official new Helpers.
