Awards and Badges
The awards programme is made up of the Core Awards (Challenges) and Activity Badges. During your time in Scouts, you should complete many of the challenges. Once you have completed enough, you can aim to achieve your Chief Scout Gold Award, the top award acheivable in Scouts. The challenges are as follows:
- Outdoor
- Outdoor Plus
- Fitness
- Global
- Expedition
- Community
- Creative
- Adventure

There is a wide range of Activity Badges. You can choose one to do at any time: just let the leaders know. We do some within the troop. They range from Canoeing, to Artist, to Sports Enthusiast!
All the badge requirements you need can be found in the Scoutbase Scout Badges Library.
Scout Skills
Scoutbase has a variety of factsheets that you can use to help you remember things we do at Scouts. All the links below are in the pdf format, so you will need Adobe Acrobat Reader (download).

Other
Patrols rotate to be Duty Patrol on troop evenings. During these meetings, the PL will need to get the flag ready, do flag break and flag down, and bring the put the flag away neatly again, while other members of the patrol need to sweep the floor at the end and make sure the hall is tidy.
