Wild West Fun Day (Mar 2010)
To welcome the new Beaver colony that opened in January of this year the Group held a Wild West Funday. 38 children from the 3 Scouting sections took part in the day held at Roves Farm. The day was full of fun activities including chasing the farms very big 'Easter Rabbit', a selection of Wild West crafts, games and finishing with a camp fire led by 2 of our District guests Dave and Eileen. Not only were the children very tired at the end of the day but the leaders were too - a brilliant team effort by all, including members of our Exec committe who helped 'dish' out the wagon wheels and provide refreshments for all.
