About Us

Our Cub Pack is part of the 6 to 25 programme and provides Scouting for Young People aged 8 to 10 ½. If you are older than this then have a look at what our Scout Troop has to offer.

During the year we do various exciting activities such as camping, hiking, swimming and cooking. We spend much of the Summer outside learning new skills such as trail-following, bivouac-building and backwoods cooking, much of which takes place at the Firs (our local woodland). We also do award work and play some games.

If you are interested in having more details, then please contact Jan Fisher, Assistant Group Scout Leader via email, who will be happy to help. You can come along for a few weeks before you decide to join to find out just what it's all about!

Information on joining us (March 2012): We are near to our maximum capacity at present, especially as the Beaver Colony comprises a large part of our joining list. We can only increase numbers with extra adult support. However, please do get in touch with us to discuss any possible options.
