Youlbury 2009 (Mar 2009)
On March 20th 2009 we headed to Youlbury for a week end camp, as well as the usual Cub Scout out door activities, Cubs had a chance to try 'crate stacking'. Owen and Nick achieved the highest stack with 15 1/2 crates, with BenE and a very brave JamesM in second place with 14 1/2.
We also studied some of the birdlife in the the woods around us and had a great afternoon of tracking and games led by Bagherra for our Navigators badge.
We had wonderful sunny dry weather. Cubs also built their own 'den' and we were very spoilt with an AMAZING selection of cakes by the Mums and grandmothers! (Thank you!)
